Phases of Competition
Private Interview
30% of each contestant's overall score.
During this phase of competition each contestant conducts a 10 minute private interview with a panel of judges. She will be questioned on her personal fact sheet, community service initiative, and current events.
Onstage Conversation
10% of each contestant's overall score.
During this phase of competition a single question will be asked onstage regarding the contestant's Community Service Initiative. The contestant will have up to 30 seconds to respond.
Health and Fitness
20% of each contestant's overall score.
During this phase of competition, each contestant showcases her commitment to health and fitness initiatives.
Performance Talent/HERStory
20% of each contestant's overall score.
During this phase of competition each contestant will individually showcase their personal talent/HerStory in 90 seconds or less.
Evening Gown
20% of each contestant's overall score.
During this phase of competition, each contestant will publicly present her sense of style wearing an evening gown in a fashion suitable for an appearance as a titleholder.
