The Miss Greater Salt Lake Scholarship Organization is a quadruple crown scholarship competition in Utah. As an open competition, we accept contestants from across the entire state. In the past, we've had contestants come from Cache Valley, Cedar City, and every area in between to compete in our competition. Each year, our four titleholders go on to compete for the title of Miss Utah, who goes on to compete for the title of Miss America.

Established in 2014, the Miss Greater Salt Lake Scholarship Organization and its titleholders have seen great success at the Miss Utah Scholarship Competition, having received the following awards and accolades:​

  • 1 Miss America Academic Award Winner

Not only do our four titleholders each receive a scholarship award and a prize package, they also receive year-round training and mentoring with our organization's board of qualified volunteers. Titleholders receive training in:

  • Creating a strong and marketable Social Impact Initiative

  • Developing a personal brand 

  • Paperwork that sets you apart

  • Lifelong interview skills

  • Body language coaching

  • How to understand and keep up with current events

  • Talent selection & execution

  • Modeling & stage presence

  • Hair & makeup lessons

  • Creating a stand-out wardrobe
